General information and maintenance
1. If the pilot flame does not light up, do not turn on the Main Cock Handle.
2. If the pilot does not light up, try to press the Electronic ignition button again. If it still fails,
inform the qualified service agent to take appropriate action on maintenance and replacement..
3. Remember to shut off the Pilot Light while not in cooking for an extended period of
time.
4. The kitchen exhaust system must be on whenever the appliance is in operation.
5. Always pay attention to any gas leakage from the Main Cock Valve and connection
joints of the gas pipes. If there is leakage problem, shut off the main gas supply valve
and inform qualified service agent for maintenance.
6. When the appliance is idle, clean the body and the Drip Tray and always keep it tidy.
7. To avoid damages on the roaster body, do not strike bulky and heavy objects onto the
roaster.

Important Notes –







Do not turn on the main gas valves unless the pilot flame is on
Ensure the kitchen ventilation system is on before operating the appliance
Keep the kitchen well ventilated at all time
HOT SURFACES – Always use thermal gloves when using the appliance
Do not put any lava rock, charcoal or any other solid obstacles on the heat radiant top
during operation and combustion
Do not wash the heat radiant panel when they are hot to avoid damage

WHAT TO DO IF YOU SMELL GAS:

Structure of Pig Roaster
1. The pig Roaster is constructed of 3 major parts: the body, the burners and heat
radiant panels.
2. The powerful burner is equipped with 3 nos. of bar burners, pilot pipe, gas in
orifice, A-mode air mixer, pilot lighter with valve and flame failure device (safety
valve).
3. The control panel consists of 3 gas cock switches and pilot switch.
4. The body is constructed with high quality stainless steel casing with fire brick
insulation and equipped with 3 pieces of stainless steel heat radiant panel with
adjuster.

This appliance is only for professional use and that it should be used by
qualified people.

1. TURN ON
a) Before lighting the appliance, ensure all gas valves are in closed position.
b) Turn on the gas on/off valve and the Pilot Switch (7).
c) Turn on the Pilot Lighter Valve (9). Establish the manual flame by Pilot Lighter (4)
and press the button of Flame Failure Device “Safely valve” (8) to light the pilot
with the manual flame. Once the pilot flame is established, continuously press the
button of Flame failure device (safety valve) (8) for 20 seconds.
d) If pilot flame is not lit, wait for 5 minutes before attempting step (C). Else, shut off
the pilot lighter valve (9) and place it to the original position.
e) Turn on all the Gas Cock Switch (3).

For temporary shut off, just turn off the Gas Cock Switch (3) and leave the Pilot
