visit and survey the site. Based on our capability of equipment,
material, manpower, finance, price conditions, the Contractor Joint
Stock Company no. 118 make construction method statement for
project.

PART 1
GENERAL INTRODUCTION
I. GENERAL CONDITION:
- Relocation section of NH 37, start at Km147+745.97, end at
Km151+230.00. The Railway Flyover locates on NH37, Km148+280.508
(based on current station of NH 37), under Wolfram Exploitation Project
- §a kim Nói Ph¸o, Ha Thuong commune, §¹i Tõ district,
- Relocation section of Railway section Qu¸n TriÒu- Nói Hång, starts at
Km14+307.28 and ends at Km18+243.00. Suèi C¸t bridge locates
within station area.

Nói Ph¸o is on the way of relocation section

Km14+874.50, under Vonfram Exploitation Project - §a kim Nói Ph¸o, Ha
Thuong commune, §¹i Tõ district.
II. characteristics of bridge construction area:
1. Terrain characters:
- Thai Nguyen terrain includes low hill and mountains in direction of
North-South. Tam Dao, Ngan Son and Bac Son are the mountain chains
surrounding Southwest. At the Southwest, Tam Dao mountain chain
with highest peak of 1590m, all mountainous walls are vertical and
extended from Northwest-Southeast. Ngan Son mountain chain starts
at Bac Can, runs toward Northeast-Southwest to Vo Nhai. Bac Son
mountain chain runs in direction Northwest-Southeast.
- Terrain along the relocation section runs through mountainous area,
medium elevation from 50-100m, in which there are two relativelysmall streams (01 stream having valley area of 3.7km2 and the other is
1.04km2)
2. Characters of Climate and Hydrography.
a. Climate:
- Thai Nguyen climate has two separated season climate: rainy season
from May to October, dry season is from November April next year.
Temperature difference between hottest month (June: 28.5oC) to
coldest month (January: 28.90C) is 13.70C.
- Average rainy fall is 2000 to 2500mm, highest in August and lowest in
January. Rainfall is greater in Thai Nguyen city, Dai Tu district, while the
rainfall in Vo Nhai district, Phu Luong is smaller. About 87% of rainfall
occurs in flood season (From May to October) of which the rainfall in

August accounts for 30% of total rainfall in a year, consequently, the
flood is regularly happened.
b. Hydrography: Originate from Ba La mountainous area, Dinh Hoa
district, along Tam Dam mountain. The river is stopped at Dai Tu,
creates Nui Coc Lake with surface area of 25KM2. Cau river belongs to
Thai Binh river system, with valley area of 3480km2, originates from
Cho Don to North-Southeast, into Thai Binh river at Pha Lai town.
- The alignment runs throughout mountainous area, therefore the
hydrography at the designed section is dependent on rainy mechanism
of stream system crossing the section.
3. Geological Condition of Bridge Structure:
+ Based on survey result of geotechnical condition for Railway Flyover,
the stratum design topdown is as follow:
- KQ layer: embankment soil, made of mix clay, mix sand with gravel,
root, rated loading R’=2KG/cm2.
- Layer 1: Sand, grey-yellow gravel, wet, medium density. Rated loading
R’=2KG/cm2.
- Layer 2: Grey-yellow mix clay, green-grey, in state of soft and tender.
Rated loading R’=1KG/cm2.
- Layer 3: Grey-yellow mix clay, green-grey, in state of tender and hard,
sometime

mixed

with

pebble,

and

gravel.

Rated

loading

R’=1.38KG/cm2.
- Layer 4: Grey-yellow mix clay, haft hard, mixed with crushes stone,
macadam. Rated loading R’=2.38KG/cm2.
- Layer 5A: grey-white granite, weathered and chaps. Rated loading
R’=100KG/cm2.
- Layer 5B: Grey-white granite, hard

and strong,

little chaps,

longitudinal compressive-resistance strength: dry σkh=876.5KG/cm2,
saturated σbh=859.5KG/cm2.
+ Based on survey result of geotechnical condition for Suoi Cat bridge,
the stratum design topdown is as follow:

- Layer KQ: embankment soil layer, sandy clay, grey-brown macadam,
tender and hard. Rated loading R’=1.5KG/cm2.
- Layer 1: grey-yellow gravel, Rated loading R’=4KG/cm2.
- Layer 2: brown, grey-brown clay, hard and tender state. Rated loading
R’=1.8KG/cm2.
- Layer 3: Brown clay, from hard-tender to hard-half, mixed with
macadam, stone, un-weathered granite or weathered ones. (Products of
weathered granite). Rated loading R’=2.50KG/cm2.
III. scale, technical specification and applied procedure
1. Scale and Technical specifications:
+ For Road Flyover (Flyover):
- Applied Standard: 22TCN 272-01.
- The Flyover is designed by permanent reinforcement concrete and
Pre-stressed reinforce concrete.
- Design load: Active load HL93, passengers 0.3Mpa.
- Earthquake area : Zone 2.
- Width of bridge is correspondent to one of road pavement.
B=(0.5+8+0.5)=9.0m
+ For railway flyover and structures along the railway:
- Design standards for bridge and culvert following limitation of 22TCN
18-79
- Bridge design standard: 22TCN 272-05
- Bridge is designed permanently by reinforced concrete.
- Designed load: Girder T22, abutment and piers T26, passenger road
300kg/m2.
- Earthquake level: 7
- Design frequency: P=1%.
- width of bridge is correspondence to one of pavement.

III. structure proposal and design result
1. Ground for selecting structure proposal:
+ The selection of aperture and structure of flyover is laid on following
foundations
- Estimation results of hydrography, clearance requirements under
bridge.
- high-art structure span, with low height to reduce the thickness of
embankment at two approach road.
- Delicate substructure, the form is harmonized with span structure,
assure the overall architecture of project.
- Selection of structure is based on available construction technology, in
order to assure project quality and cost saving.
- As in accordance to terrain and geological conditions as well as
facilitate the construction works.

2.1. Road Flyover
2.1.1.Flyover:
The flyover is made by reinforcement concrete and pre-stress
reinforcing concrete, with main points in superstructure, substructure
and auxiliary structures.
+ Superstructure:
- 08 continuous Super-T-girder spans with two T continuous spans
(39.15+3x40)+(3x40+39.15), Total length of bridge is L=330.588.
- Structure of Super T girder span is made by pre-stressed reinforce
concrete, rated length of L=40m (from centerline), cross section
includes 04 girders with distances between girder centerline a=2.18m
at super-elevation non-extended spans at a=2.38m at super-elevation
extended spans, girder height 1.75m. reinforced concrete deck with
thickness 180mm, cast-in-place. Bridge surface is a 70mm-AC course,
above a 4mm-waterproofing layer.
+ Substructure:
- Abutment A1: Reinforced concrete wall, on foundation of 29 driven
reinforcement concrete piles 40x40cm.
- Abutment A2: Reinforced concrete wall, on foundation of 09 bored
piles with D=800mm.
- Piers P1, P2, P3 vµ P4: Round and solid pier column, reinforced
concrete, on foundation of 20 driven reinforced concrete piles
40x40cm.
- Piers P5, P6 vµ P7: Round and solid pier column, on foundation of 06
bored piles with D=800mm
+ Guard rail structure for bridge:
- Because of locating at intersection between specialized road and
railway, the road section under the bridge shall be designed with
guardrail to protect piers.
2.1.2. Approach roads:
- Approach road is designed at grade IV, designed speed V=60km/h.
- Total length of approach road is 20m, in which approach road at Quan
Trieu side and Nui Hong side is both 10m.

- 10m embankment behind abutment, width B = 10m, then gradually
narrowed to B = 9m in next 15m long.
2.2. Railway Flyover
2.2.1.Railway Flyover:
The Flyover locates within Nui Phao station, it is arranged 02 separate
railways on the Flyover, made by reinforced concrete, with following
characteristics in superstructure, substructure and auxiliary structures.
+ Superstructure:
Span outline includes 02 reinforced concrete spans, L = 12.5m, each
railway on Flyover include 02 girders, with distance of 4.5m between
railways.
Span section for each railway include 02 T girders, height H = 1.2m,
distance between girder centerlines a = 1.8m, camber f = 1.46cm.
Section below ballast layer is 40mm iron mesh concrete layer, make
sloping layer on the girder is from 60-123mm, supported with
specialized waterproof layer (Radcom 7).
Superstructure: rail P43, reinforced concrete tie, ballast is laid by
macadam.
+ Substructure:
- Abutment A1 vµ A2: U abutment, by reinforced concrete or concrete.
Foundation locates on reinforced concrete driven pile 40x40cm.
- Piers: Solid pier column, two round heads, reinforced concrete,
Foundation locates on reinforced concrete driven pile 40x40cm.
2.2.2.Approach roads:
- Railway width 1435mm, dual ways within the station area.
Total length of approach roads is 20m in design document of Suoi
Cat bridge, in which length of approach road in Quan Trieu side is
10m, in Nui Hong side is 10m.
10m embankment behind abutment, width B = 10m, then gradually
narrowed to B = 9m in next 15m long.
IV. GENERAL COMMENTS ON PROJECT:
1. Advantages:

The Contractor is capable and deep-experience builders, executing
many nature-similarly projects.
Having close supports from inhabitants and local authorities in Thai
Nguyen province.
The exploitation and supply of construction material around the
construction area are rather convenience.
Social, economical conditions in the region is good and facilitate the
construction as well as living of the Contractor staffs.
2. Disadvantages:
- The section runs through out the area with annual rainfall
2048.1mm/per year, rainy season starts from May to October, in which
the rain mainly falls in August, that makes difficulties in construction
organization and project progress.

Part 2
General construction organization method
I. Proposed solutions in construction method
The Contractor shall apply advanced construction methods, mobilize
new equipments with suitable capacity as assuring a reasonable
price, good quality and progress.
The

construction

method

must

meet

the

technical

and

requirements, conforming to Vietnamese and project standards.
Assure the environmental, sanitary conditions, labor safety, traffic
safety and flow on the alignment as well as security.
When facing the difficulties during the construction, the Contractor
shall work with Engineer, Employer, Designer and local authorities to
timely settle the problems.

Ii. Construction method:
Upon reading design document, site survey and refer to material supply
source, the Contractor propose a mix solution, in combination of
mechanical and manual operation.
iii. construction procedure:
When completing the preparation works, the Contractor shall organize
works in following steps.
Site preparation
Construction of substructure.
Construction of superstructure.
Construction of approach roads.
Finishing work.

IV. organization methods
1. Project schedule :

Pursuant

to

progress

requirements,

available

capability

and

competence, the Contractor plans to undertake the project for 365
days since the commencement day.

_The Contractor shall make and submit the Engineer a detailed
construction schedule for all work items, assure that the progress shall
meet required date,
2. Organize construction teams
- Pursuant to work volume and construction schedule.
- Pursuant to equipment capability, well-skilled labor, the Contractor
plans to organize the workers in to two construction teams as follows:
+) Team 1: Construct Road Flyover.
+) Team 2: Construct Railway flyover ( Suèi C¸t bridge ).
For which each construction team shall be divided into sub-team
+) Sub-team to undertake the substructure
+) Sub-team to undertake superstructure.
+) Sub-team to undertake approach roads
-

The construction work of the Contractor is based on approved
plan by the Consultant. Prior to commence any work item, the
Contractor shall submit to Consultant working drawing and
construction method statement and start work only when getting
approval from the Consultant.

-

During the construction, the Contractor shall rotate the labor,
equipment, machinery, work in collaboration in executing the
bridges, bridge items so that to fully bring equipment capacity,
labor into play as well as assuring the best performance of the
work.

II. QUALITY ASSURANCE METHOD
The Contractor shall organize the work as conforming to technical
design document, applied standards and regulation in the project,
assure technical specification, art, smooth traffic. the Contractor shall
absolutely abide by regulations, standards, design standard frame as
applied in Wolfram exploitation Project – Da Kim NUi Phao, especially
the Contractor shall bear in mind that;

1.

Management of bench mark system, control point system

and construction survey works.
When the Employer handover design document, bench mark and
control point system on alignment, the Contractor shall mobilize a
survey and design team to check, restore and manage this bench mark
system.
2. Management of delivered material:
Before using, All material such as sand, stone, soil embankment,
AC, cement, steel … and other delivered material shall be tests for
physical and mechanical criterion and approved by Consultant for
usage.
* Cement:
Cement used in this project is normal Portland (ASTM type-1)
meeting minimum requirement of AASHTO-M85, BS 12:1978 or TCVN
2683-1992 PC-40 cement. Before using any kind of cement, the
Contractor must submit all certificates of batch and those are approved
by the Consultant.
* Steel
- Normal reinforcement: Use newly-uniform steel, no defect, no rust.
The steel must meet requirement of the Ministry of Construction, and
registered quality as conforming to designed standards.
- Round plain steel: A-I (CT-3) 22TCN 18-79 or ASTM A615.
- Deformed steel: ASTM A615: grade 300 and 420
- pre-stress reinforcement concrete must be high-tensile resistance
cable, strand or rebar
* Kinds of sand and stone:
Kinds of stone, sand delivered to the project must be tested for:
physical and mechanical criterion, aggregate, gradation, dust content,
mud, clay, other impurities… as meeting specifications for each work
item.
* Water:
Water used for concrete, mortar shall be fresh water without
impurities
* Admixture:

Admixture shall not be used unless approved in writing by the
Consultant.

admixture at least 28days in advance of the commencement of specific
work or any rate of structure that Consultant propose to use

in

admixture.
* Structure Components:
Before being used in this project, the Contractor shall proceed
with supply economic contracts for project. Agreed condition and terms
must prioritize product quality assured by the supplier. Quality
certificate and notification should be submitted to the Consultant prior
to usage of products. The Employer and Designer have known the legal
entity of supplier, production plants, supply schedule for proper
monitor. Only when supplier’s products have been checked and
approved for quality by Consultant, Employer and Designer Consultant,
those are delivered to the site for construction.
3.

Management

of

Equipment,

machinery,

survey

tool

mobilized in project.
The Contractor shall mobilize equipment, machinery in correct
kind and capacity. the Contractor also assure the availability of these
equipment. The measuring and checking tools on site are all new and
calibrated.
4. Management of Manpower:
The Contractor shall mobilize competent management team, wellexperience and directly organize the construction work. A high-skilled
and professional workers team, employees with many similar technicalexperience shall also be mobilized to this project.

Part 3
Detailed construction organization method
Chapter 1
Preparation work
I. preparation works
1. Preparation Works
- This is a very important stage in the construction period. Therefore,
upon negotiating and signing construction contract, the Contractor shall
urgently implement the following steps.
-

Establish

site

management

board.

Notify

the

Employer

and

Consultant the address for liaison.
-

Liaise with local authority to hire area for:
o Working office for Consultant, site Management Board.
o House and camps for workers.
o Store Yard for equipment, machinery and material.

-

Handover land, bench mark system, control point system, restore
works

-

Mobilize equipment, machinery, manpower to the site.

-

Conducts necessary tests for delivered material (soil, sand, stone,
cement, steel…)

-

Declare the number of works, staffs on the site with local Police, local
authority.

I. arrangement of the site and service road
1. Site arrangement:
- Site camps shall be arranged at convenient place for management,
inspection during the construction stage, as assuring the living
condition of the Contractor’s staff at site.
- After surveying the whole section, seek permission from local
authority for construction. the Contractor arranges 02 construction
areas for works:
+ Area 1: at Road Flyover
+ Area 2: at Railway Flyover (Suèi C¸t bridge)
* Area 1: at Road Flyover

- The Contractor shall excavate, embank and grade the ground at A1
site (Quan Trieu side), make a flat and large area for construction. The
Contractor plans to arrange:
* Working compound and dwelling house:
- Site office and dwelling house for Consultant
- Site office and dwelling house for Management Board.
- Office for engineers.
- Dwelling house for staffs.
- Kitchen and dining room.
- Site clinic.
- Site laboratory
- Safeguard house.
* Area for power and water:
- Water tanks for living
- Toilet
* Stores and plant
- Store for material, cement, steel
* Stockpile area for sand and stone
* Equipment store yard
* Material fabrication
*
Casting yard for girder and pre-stress concrete girder,
reinforcement concrete pile 40x40cm
* Concrete mixing plant
b. Area 2: Railway Flyover (Suèi C¸t bridge).
- The Contractor shall excavate, embank and grade the ground at A2
site (Nui Hong side), make a flat and large area for construction. The
Contractor plans to arrange:
* Dwelling house:
- Site office for staffs
- House for staffs
- Kitchen and dining room.
- Safeguard house
* Area for power and water:
- Water tanks for living
- Toilet
* Stores and plant
- Store for material, cement, steel
* Equipment store yard
* Material fabrication and storing yard

* Casting yard for pre-stress concrete girder, reinforcement
concrete pile 40x40cm
2. Construction of Service road.
2.1. General:
- In order to assure smooth and convenient traffic flow during the
construction phase, the Contractor shall built internal service road
system for construction work. Material delivered to the site shall be
transport from first section along NH37.
2.2. Requirements for execution of service road:
-

Prior to construction, the Contractor shall submit Consultant, local
authority with detailed construction method statement for support
and supervision.

-

the Contractor shall survey, drive red-white wooden stakes at
excavation, embankment areas, on cross section and profile.

-

Define

location

of

service

road

among

construction

area,

embankment area or site-adjacent area so as the slope is small and
equipment can travel conveniently.
2.3. Construction method statement.
2.3.1. Embankment
a. Excavation work
- Embankment is the key work item. The Contractor mainly excavates
and removes the organic soil layer, unsuitable soil.
- The excavation work shall be executed under principal that minimize
the impact to under material and outside of excavated area.
b. Soil Embankment work:
+ Construction steps:
-

When finishing site clearing and benching work approved by
Employer and Consultant, the Contractor shall commence the soil
embankment. Prior to that, the Contractor shall check and take soil
sample for tests, standard compaction. Should the test results meet
specification, the construction work shall commence. Otherwise the
Contractor shall replace with new soil kind.

-

Embank soil layer by layer of 30cm.

Take soil from approved borrow pit, with good test results, transport
in distance Ltb = 2Km by dump truck > 10T, in combination with
excavator, its bucket volume 1.25m3 to take soil, delivered to the
site for embankment.

-

When the soil is transported and piled at the construction area, the
grader shall level into layers, make crown (for the top layer) and roll
immediately. The next layer shall only be commenced when had the
previous layer been compacted with required density. The Contractor
shall segment construction area properly, only commence one action
on each section

such as soil stockpile, grading, compaction to

assure the quality and take the best use of equipment capacity.
+ Compaction;
- Upon leveling the soil, compact immediately to take best use of
natural moisture. Should the soil is dry, it is necessary to water more
(by watering machine 6m3) to assure the optimum moisture when
compacting.
- Use Steel roller 8-10T to compact from edge to centerline. At the
curve section, roll from inside to outside, overlap compacting with at
least 20cm, 3-4 times per points. Rolling work finishes when the
embankment have required density.

CHAPTER 2: CONSTRUCTION OF SUBSTRUCTURE
I. CONSTRUCTION OF FLYOVER.
1. Main construction steps:
1.1. Construction of Abutment A1.
Construction sequence
* Preparation works:
- Setting out the centerline of A1
- Construct service road to Abutment A1
- Excavate and remove unsuitable material, grade and level to make
construction area to level +50.50.
- mobilize equipment and manpower.
* Construct reinforced concrete driving pile system 40x40cm:
- Setting out correctly the position of piles.
- Install hammer truss to execute the test pile, dynamic loading test.
- Upon getting test pile result, drive the remaining piles as designed
order.
* Construct foundation hole:
- When driving all piles of abutment foundation, dismantle the hammer
truss, move out of the abutment area.
- Excavate soil in the foundation hole by excavator and manually to
designed elevation, pay attention to the dewatering work (if any).
- When excavate to elevation 0.5m lower than pile tip, excavate
manually.
- When excavating to the bottom elevation of foundation hole, should
pay attention to make side ditch system to catch water around the
foundation hole.
- Dewater dry among the cofferdam, top pile treatment and install clip
rebar.
- Clean the foundation hole, placing the blinding concrete layer with
thickness of 100mm.

- Install rebar, formwork for pile cap, starter rebar of the abutment
column, connection wing wall so as to assure the strength and stability
of rebar during the construction.

Casting concrete for pile cap to design elevation by crane and
concrete sliding box.

Concrete shall be delivered and transported to the abutment by Mix
truck.

-

Concrete maintenance: remove formwork when the concrete get
required strength.

* Construct head wall, wing wall, top wall
- Make rough, clean the starter bar, correct the rebar as correct
coordinate.
- Install reinforcement, scaffolding, formwork for head wall, wing wall,
top wall of abutment, other connection and strutting keep the formwork
stable during the construction period.
- Concrete head wall, wing wall, top wall by crane and concrete sliding
box.

Concrete shall be delivered and transported to the abutment by Mix
truck.

Concrete maintenance: remove formwork when the concrete get
required strength.

Continue to maintain concrete to get required strength.

* Abutment finishing
- Setting out and construct bearing pad.
- Construct quarter cone, masonry foot for approach road.
1.2.Construct Abutment A2:
Construction Sequence
* Preparation works:
- Setting out the centerline of Abutment A2
- Built the service road to Abutment A2. Grade and level the
construction area to elevation +57.00
- Mobilize construction equipment.

* Bored pile works
- Setting out centerline of pile to lowering the casing
- Use vibrating hammer to lower casing to design elevation.

During the boring process, keep the bored hole wall stable by
Bentonite.

-

Clean the bored hole, install and lower steel cage by crane.

-

Concrete the pile by vertical-movement duct.

-

Apply the same sequence for next bored piles.

* Foundation hole construction:
- When the concrete pile have enough strength and required tests,
excavate the soil in the foundation hole by excavator and labor to
designed elevation. During the excavation of foundation hole, keep
dewatering (if any).
- - When excavate to elevation 0.5m lower than pile tip, excavate
manually.
- When excavating to the bottom elevation of foundation hole, should
pay attention to make side ditch system to catch water around the
foundation hole.
- Dewater dry among the cofferdam, pile head breaking by destructing
boring, with manual operation.
- Clean the foundation hole and treat the pile head.
- Execute a 100mm-blinding concrete layer at bottom of foundation
hole
- Mobilize material, formwork for next construction step.
* Construction of Pile Cap:
- Install rebar, formwork for pile cap, starter rebar of the abutment
column, connection wing wall so as to assure the strength and stability
of rebars during the construction.

Casting concrete for pile cap to design elevation by crane and
concrete sliding box.

Concrete shall be delivered and transported to the abutment by Mix
truck.

Concrete maintenance: remove formwork when the concrete get

- Make rough, clean the starter bar, correct the rebar as correct
coordinate.
- Install reinforcement, scaffolding, formwork for head wall, wing wall,
top wall of abutment, other connection and strutting system, to keep
the formwork stable during the construction period.
- Concrete head wall, wing wall, top wall by crane and concrete sliding
box.

Concrete shall be delivered and transported to the abutment by Mix
truck.

Concrete maintenance: remove formwork when the concrete get
required strength.

Continue to maintain concrete to get required strength.

1.4.Construct Pier P5, P6 and P7:
Construction sequence
* Preparation works
- Setting out the centerline piers
- Construct service road to piers. Grade and level to make construction
area to designed level.
- Mobilize equipment and manpower.
* Construction of bored pile
- Setting out work for centerline of pile to lower the casing.

* Construct of Pier column, Crosshead
- Make rough, clean starter rebar, correct rebar as correct coordinate.
- Install reinforcement concrete, scaffold, formwork for wall, Crosshead,
connection details and strutting to keep formwork stable during the
construction steps.
- Concrete pier column and Crosshead by crane and concrete sliding
box.

Concrete shall be delivered from mixing plant and transported to the
pier location by Mix truck.

* Finish Pier:
- Setting out and construct bearing pad.

2. Construction Technology:
2.1. Technology for reinforced concrete pile 40x40cm:
2.1.1. Technology and Procedure:
+Step 1: casting the test pile.
-

Prepare casting and storing yard, formwork, material stockpile
and equipment.

-

Schedule to cast the test pile based on design document and
submit to Consultant for approval.

Cast the test pile.

+Step 2: Drive the test pile:
-

Setting out the position of pile

-

Install hammer striker and hammer truss.

-

Transport pile to position, drive the pile tip into the soil by the
weight of the hammer.

-

Bring the second segment of pile to position, connect piles, start
hammer to drive the pile. Repeat the sequence for next segment.

-

Monitor the bound rate. When the bound meets requirement, stop
driving work.

-

After 03 days, re-drive to check the bound.

-

Decide the elevation for pile driving at large scale.

Step 3: Pile casting at large scale
-

Segment pile into section, schedule casting of large scale as
basing the result of test pile driving. This schedule shall be
submitted to the Engineer for approval.

-

Undertake pile cast at large scale.

+Step 4: Drive pile at large scale
-

Setting out the position of pile.

-

Move driving equipment to the position.

-

Transport pile to the position, drive the pile tip into position by the
weight of hammer.

-

Bring the second segment of pile to position, connect piles, start
hammer to drive the pile. Repeat the sequence for next segment.

-

Check for acceptance of pile.

2.1.2. Technical specifications
2.1.2.1. General:
-

Reinforced concrete pile 40x40cm shall be executed as prescribed in
the drawings on concrete type, shall be mixed and placed as stated
in Article S9.01 of this Tech Spec. The rebar must be fabricated as
regulated in S9.02 of this Tech Spec.
