I. ĐẶC ĐIỂM TÌNH HÌNH
1. Thuận lợi:
• Về phía giáo viên:
- Được sự chỉ đạo, quan tâm và tạo điều kiện của Ban giám hiệu nhà trường.
- Đã được trang bị những kiến thức cơ bản của môn học.
- Có đủ thời gian đầu tư về chuyên môn.
- Có các nguồn tài liệu để tìm hiểu sâu hơn về chuyên môn.
• Về phía học sinh:
- Học sinh đều đang học Tiếng Anh theo chương trình cơ bản. Hầu hết học sinh đã được trang bị kiến thức nền

tảng tương đối đầy đủ.
- Đa số phụ huynh học sinh quan tâm tới việc học tập của học sinh.
- Các chương trình tiếng Anh trên mạng đa dạng, phong phú đáp ứng nhu cầu tham khảo của học sinh.
2. Khó khăn
• Về phía giáo viên:
- Sách tham khảo còn ít
- Giáo viên chưa đáp ứng chuẩn năng lực giáo viên bậc THPT theo Khung đánh giá năng lực giáo viên ngoại
ngữ.
• Về phía học sinh:
- Đa số học sinh có ý thức học tập, một bộ phận nhỏ học sinh ý thức học tập chưa cao. Tuy nhiên với đặc thù là
môn ngoại ngữ nên học sinh còn khó khăn trong học các kỹ năng nghe, nói.
- Đa số học sinh chưa biết cách tự học và tự nghiên cứu ở nhà.
- Một số học sinh có kiến thức nền chưa tốt, ảnh hưởng đến việc học chương trình cao hơn của bậc THPT.
II. TÀI LIỆU VÀ PHƯƠNG TIỆN DẠY- HỌC:
- Tài liệu: SGK, sách bài tập, các tài liệu tham khảo theo từng kỹ năng.
- Phương tiện: cassette, băng đĩa, máy chiếu.

- Thực hiện nghiêm túc qui định về nề nếp chuyên môn
- Thường xuyên tự học, tự bồi dưỡng để nâng cao năng lực chuyên môn, nghiệp vụ.
- Nghiên cứu sáng kiến kinh nghiệm, đổi mơi phương pháp dạy học phù hợp đối tượng học sinh.
- Thực hiện nghiêm túc việc kiểm tra, đánh giá học sinh.
